My Bio

Personal Biography

Birth Date and Place:
I was born July 24th 1995 in San Diego California at Grossmont Hospital.

Family Members:
I was born to two loving parents, Dave and Kassie Eide. I am the youngest of three daughters. My two sisters; Lauren and Morgan are five years and eighteen months apart from me and we’ve been close all our lives. My sister Lauren is now 22, living with her fiancé and will soon be married in

June. My other sister Morgan; the one closest to me in age, is now 19 and living at home, she is also my best friend. My family has always been very loving and supportive.

Childhood and School:

I have attended six schools my entire life, but the first school that ever had an impact on me and my life was Fletcher Hills Elementary School. It was there that I met some of my best friends that helped shape me and grow me as the person I am today. In first grade I met my best friend Kaycee Fisher, who is still my friend to this day. In seventh grade I switched schools to Carlton Oaks. I arrived the first day not knowing a single person. Coning into a new school not knowing anyone was a little terrifying, but I made friends quickly and seventh and eighth grade became two of my favorite school years.
After eighth grade most students from Carlton Oaks go to Westhills High School, however I decided to go to Foothills Christian High for my freshman year. I have gone to Foothills Christian Church my entire life so I knew almost everyone at the school. Although there were some advantages of such a small private school I did not enjoy it and transferred to Westhills my sophomore year. Westhills was a huge contrast to Foothills and I came to like Westhills a lot more than I did the private Christian school. Here at Westhills I’ve made many friends, but Hannah Vogt and Jenna Finnerty are the two that have always been there for me and I plan on staying friends with them long after high school ends.

Hobbies and Activities:

All of my life I have been involved in some type of sport or activity. From the time I could walk my parents put me in gymnastics. I loved everything about gymnastics because I was flexible and surprisingly good at it. However I could never stick to one thing for very long. Around the age of six I began to pay softball for the first time. From the start I loved it because both my sisters played before me. I mainly played first base or shortstop, but most of the time I was pitcher. I enjoyed being pitcher because I felt like I was in control of the whole game. I couldn’t pitch very fast, but I was consistently accurate. I played until I was probably eleven and then I switched to playing volleyball. From the beginning volleyball came easy to me. Just like in softball my serves were consistent only this time I was older and could hit harder. However when I transferred to Westhills my sophomore year I didn’t make the team. I was devastated because girls who couldn’t even hit the ball over the net made the team. Honestly I believe high school sports teams are rigged. I never played volleyball again and I miss it more than any other sport.

Summer has always been my favorite time of the year because I love being in the water. My family and I have been going to the river since I was ten years old. I absolutely love going tubing because its an adrenaline rush knowing you could flip over at any second. However, nothing compared to wakeboarding. My dad was such an amazing and patient teacher that I got up on my third try. The looks from people on boats as a little eleven year old girl wakeboarding drove by were so funny to see. They looked shocked that I could be wakeboarding that well. Over the summers I got better and better. The river is my favorite place to be and I hope to own my own house up there sometime when I’m older.

 Career:

Since the age of about fourteen I have wanted to be a chef and open my own restaurant or café. I think the reason behind my desire to be a chef is because basically the only thing I watch on TV is the food network. Not only is it because I find it interesting and fun that I was to pursue this as a career, but also that I am good at cooking. Unlike baking, cooking doesn’t have to be exact measurements or ingredients its just about flavor. I like the idea of cooking food for someone and that they would enjoy it. I would love to study culinary arts abroad in Europe or Greece. I think there’s a lot I could learn about other culture’s food by living in their city and experiencing it firsthand.
